Establishment of Biogas System in Alsadir City

Together celebrated UNESCO day 4 Nov. 2006 by establishing biogas system in Alsadir city.

Together in cooperation with Ibin-Sina society and support of Nature Iraq organized a field visit to marshland women to know their needs and encourage them to do handicraft works from natural resources available in their environment. The team also visited the schools and clinics, there.

Together celebrated the international day of Tolerance 16 October with different activities in  Al-Basra marshland they were:
1. Establishing a football yard for marshland youth called Alsalam football yard.
2. Sport clothes for the teams were distributed there.
3. Creation a class rooms for adult and women educating (old people whom they can’t read and write) in coordination with ministry of education and local community there, a teacher volunteer from their local community will be responsible for this activity.

Together celebrated the international day of child 20 October with children in Orphanage by showing them environmental plays, films and give them lecture about how to be positive against environment ,gifts were be distributed for them.

Together celebrated the International day of woman 8 March 2007 in cooperation with Ibin-Sina establishments and student establishment on science college hall/ university of Baghdad ,lectures were given for students and employees (women) about woman rights and the international agreements especially CEDAW agreements .Woman and the environment was the second lecture that was given to them , Scientific calculators with environmental printed poster on it which represents the common environmental problems that our planet suffer from and ecobag with environmental instructions about recycling and biogas printed on it ,were distributed for the participants. Effective discussions happened in this field.

A lecture about environment and investment done by Together –Exp.Saadia to responsible people in Kurdistan , the affect of investment on environment and how to invest environment          ( recycling, establishment of friendly environment industries…etc).

Celebration of Iraqi Environmental Day 15 April 2007 by leading tree planting campaign according to the global campaign that UNEP adopt (Plant your planet, billion tree campaign).We began with schools and orphanages in Baghdad and coordination with other Iraqi NGOS in all over Iraq.

Together celebrated Arab environmental Day 14 October 2007 by holding many workshops for university students about the chemical hazards and how to handle it , the international agreements about chemical management , these workshops done in college of Technology .

TOGETHER celebrated world desertification day 17 June 2008 by giving lectures about the businessmen responsibilities against environment and desertification and how they can contribute to save our planet. Consultant of prime minister in Kurdistan and Head of Erbil chamber and commerce ,as well as representative from ministry of agriculture, ministry of environment, ministry of higher education, Kurdish and Arabic Journalists, Democratic Party , College of art-Sallahalddin University, Centre of international private sector(CIPE), French handicapped org.
